Amy Goldenberg, PhD

Director of Publications


As the ARP Press Director of Publications, Amy works on all aspects of the publishing program, collaborating with the editor, authors, vendors, and the ARP Press team. Before joining ARP in September 2020, she drew on her background in academia and editing to work on a wide range of print and digital products at professional societies serving researchers and practitioners in science, health care, and social sciences.

Molly Phillips

Director of Sales and Marketing


Molly joined ARP Press in early 2021 as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Some of her key responsibilities include increasing book sales, growing the subscriber base, and managing the launch of new Fascicles. Prior to joining ARP, she spent 17 years on the sales side of ophthalmology publishing, where she created various advertising and marketing programs for her clients.

Elizabeth Tomlinson

Technical Editor


As the Technical Editor at ARP Press, Elizabeth works on all aspects of the editing process; from first drafts to the printed Fascicles and their corresponding epubs. Before joining ARP in December 2017, she wrote and edited a wide range of print and digital publications at the Clerk’s Office of the Florida House of Representatives.

Dian Thomas

Production Editor


Dian Thomas is responsible for the typesetting and layout of each Fascicle as the Production Editor. Prior to joining the Fascicle publication staff in the middle of the Third Series, Dian’s work experience ranged from serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy to teaching.


Peter C. Burger, MD


Peter Burger is a longstanding board member of the ARP. He is Emeritus Professor of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He had a similar position at The Duke University School of Medicine prior to his Hopkins affiliation. His interest has been in neuropathology, with a focus on surgical pathology of central nervous system tumors. He coauthored ARP Fascicles about such lesions in the 3rd and 4th series.

Ronald A. DeLellis, MD

Acting CEO of Publications

Ron DeLellis has been affiliated with ARP for many years and has served in many capacities. Before his current role on the Board of Directors as Acting CEO, he has been the author or co-author of four Fascicles, a member of the editorial board of the 3rd and 4th series, associate editor of the 4th series, and an ARP Board of Directors member. He has held professorships at Tufts University School of Medicine, the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University. He is currently a consultant pathologist at the Lifespan Hospitals in Providence, Rhode Island, and Emeritus Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Brown.

Fred Gorstein, MD


Fred Gorstein has worked with the ARP in various roles for over twenty years. He is Professor and Chair, Emeritus, of the Departments of Pathology at Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center (1994-2011) and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee (1979-1994). Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, he served as editor in chief of the medical journal Human Pathology for 23 years from 1980-2003. His major research interests have been in the areas of autoimmune and hematologic diseases.

Gresford Gray, MBA, CPA


Gresford Gray currently serves as the President of American Registry of Pathology and previously served on the Board of Directors since 2015. He has over 20 years of experience in government contracting, consulting and private equity. Gresford possesses strong business acumen and experience establishing both infrastructure and procedural enhancements, which enable significant scaling of organizations. He has an MBA in finance from the University of Virginia and a BS in accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Jason L. Hornick, MD, PhD



Jason is the Editor of the Fifth Series of the AFIP Atlases of Tumor and Non-Tumor Pathology and a member of the American Registry of Pathology Board of Directors. He is the Director of Surgical Pathology and Immunohistochemistry at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School, and Consultant at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

D. Scott Rogers, CPA

Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer


D. Scott Rogers, CPA, joined ARP in 2014 in the capacity of Director of Finance. He currently serves as the organization’s CFO and COO. Scott has a background in government contract accounting and is a non-active CPA in the state of Maryland. Prior to joining ARP, he worked in various finance and accounting roles in government and public sector accounting.
